Good, a bit clumsy though. A very fine and interesting movie. Masterpiece. 5/5
One of Bergman's darkest and most moving scripts, under the dizzying direction of Sjoberg. Great Swedish school melodrama! A Swedish version of Rebel Without A Cause?
Bergman early. (Half) proof that the Swedish brilliance is not all that of Bergman, he did write it (possible spoiler). Caligula's Revenge
Dark script by Ingmar Bergman. What a terrifying figure! Stig Järrel at his best!
Hitchcock would have loved to do this! Beautiful and dark. Magnetic steering, accessible Bergman script
With a title like Torment, is it any wonder it was written by Ingmar Bergman? An intriguing must-see, although not perfect. Midway attempt at a thriller enhanced with gorgeous black and white photos
Ingmar Bergman's first screenplay heralds the greatness of his future works. Does not reach potential. Torment more than enough for everyone
