The film hit theaters in year 1977 with great success.
It's always nice to find a movie that has a cast as good as we find in this feature film composed by Oliver Reed, Charlton Heston, Mark Lester, Raquel Welch, George C. Scott.

The direction of the film has to continually make decisions and that work has been in the hands of Richard Fleischer.
The story takes place during 113 min. in which it has you totally entertained.
United States has been the country in charge of bringing this story to life.

The way the story is told is wonderful and this result is thanks to the fact that the script was in the hands of George MacDonald Fraser, Pierre Spengler, Mark Twain.
The production companies are betting on certain stories that they will later turn into movies and, without a doubt, Warner Bros. has been completely right with this one.
Music is a differentiating element, which enhances the emotions that the story generates in us and in this case it has been directed by Maurice Jarre.

A director of photography is in charge of deciding what part of the scenery they are interested in capturing and from what angle. In this case, the person in charge of this important role has been Jack Cardiff.
Throughout the entire film we can see the presence of the Adventure genre in the feature film.

Totally nice. It never succeeds either as a recreation of Tudor England or as a swashbuckling adventure. Splendid tale of the young Prince Edward VI, the son of Henry VIII, who takes place with his likeness, a beggar from the slums
great classic !!. the fact that they have changed the name says it all .. Animated escapist food
A very nice romp. More than you expect. I like very much ...
Perfect family entertainment on Sunday afternoons. Crossed out ... Fantastic first version of Trading Places!
You can play a totally different tune with old costumes. Decent movie aside from Lester. A very funny historical adventure film despite its flaws
Blissful swashbuckling entertainment with a great cast. Nice movie. Luxurious and fun adaptation
Simple version of The Prince and the Pauper when a parody could have been enough ... Colorful contest. A classic swordsman
The beggar who would be a prince. I stare at it, but it never really takes off. Oh darling
Great support, but the center does not hold.
