Description

Zatoichi and the Fugitives is a perfect feature film to spend a pleasant time with a bit of snacks and a good cold drink.
The film's producers decided that it would be released in year 1968.
The professionalism with which they act Shintarô Katsu, Kayo Mikimoto, Kyôsuke Machida, Takashi Shimura, Jotaro Senba, allows us to focus even more on the message and enjoy the story.

The direction of the film has to continually make decisions and that work has been in the hands of Kimiyoshi Yasuda.
During the 82 min. that the film lasts, the messages and reflections are seen little by little.
Although filming can be done around the world, the bulk of the production and crew belongs to Japan.

When the script is wonderful, it is said and in this case the work done by Kinya Naoi, Kan Shimozawa is worthy of admiration.
The production of this film has been possible because Daiei Eiga was interested in the project and was confident of the good results.
Hajime Kaburagi and the team of musicians are professionals who have created a perfect soundtrack and music for this film.

The mythical scenes in which the main character is in a visually very harmonious environment, is the product of the great work of Kazuo Miyagawa.
Each film is affected by many different factors so, although there are already many films that are of the Action, Drama genre, it does not mean that it will be the same as others, far from it.

Critics Zatoichi and the Fugitives

Recommended for those who are new to our beloved Ichi. You just can't win. Second worst so far in series of 26
One of the best in the series ... even if you don't expect a lot of comedy. Pretty typical, and in the case of a Zatoichi movie, that's pretty cool. Katsu Shintaro paired with Shimura Takashi, leads to a good movie
Another excellent Zatoichi movie. Zatoichi and the Runaways (1968). Sadly tragic atmosphere contrasted by friendly characters.
Increase in violence. Zatoichi goes spaghetti western
