Decent Matinee stuff. John Wayne and Lana Turner were a good couple. Decent movie ... weird cast!
Lana and the Duke: a love story on the go. Auf Wiedersehen, Sidney. Well
Worthy effort and good watch. Matinee movie. Vigorous and bizarre war drama set at the outbreak of World War II and featuring an unusual role as ¨Duke¨ Wayne
It has some good moments, but it is somewhat disappointing! I recommend to those who are interested in naval warfare to watch this movie. The Duke as a German?
Foundry. I will not lie for you! Keep improving
A film about loyalty, patriotism, friendship, courage and responsibility. And now I call you for what you are: a murderer. . . . Decent, disposable entertainment
Very well. I owe allegiance to my ship, its crew, and my conscience. THE SEA CHASE (John Farrow, 1955) ** 1/2
Amazing. Another lesson for smart and intelligent directors. An unusual war story by John Wayne
As a naval melodrama, the movie is good entertainment!
