Xin Zhilei es un actor chino nacido en 1983 en la ciudad de Hefei, provincia de Anhui. Antes de convertirse en actor, la vida de Xin Zhilei estuvo marcada por una serie de eventos que fueron decisivos en su carrera y personalidad.
Desde joven, Xin fue una estudiante aplicada y destacada en matemáticas y física. Con el propósito de ingresar al mundo académico, se graduó con honores en la carrera de Química Industrial en la Universidad de Anhui. Xin Zhilei always had a passion for acting, but initially, she found it difficult to pursue her dreams because of her family’s traditional mindset and expectations. Her parents wanted her to pursue a career in academia, but Xin refused to give up on her dreams. In 2009, she packed her bags and moved to Beijing to pursue a career in acting.
In Beijing, Xin worked hard to break into the film industry. She started out by taking small roles in independent films and television dramas. Her breakthrough came in 2012, when she was cast in the critically acclaimed film, “Love and Bruises” directed by Lou Ye. The film was well-received on the international film festival circuit, and Xin’s acting received praise from critics and audiences alike.
Since then, Xin has been steadily building her career in the film industry. She has starred in a number of films, including “The Golden Era” directed by Ann Hui and “Blind Massage” directed by Lou Ye. In 2018, she was cast in the American-Chinese co-production, “Skyscraper,” starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
