Maya Booth is an English actor born on October 2, 1987, in London. She is the daughter of actor Simon Booth and director Deborah Warner. Maya grew up in a family of artists and has always been passionate about acting. Before becoming a successful actor, she went through a long journey full of learning and experiences.
Maya Booth's academic journey began at the University of Manchester, where she studied theatre and joined the university’s drama society. After that, she moved to New York to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she honed her acting skills. She spent two years in New York and attended various performing arts workshops, including a six-week course on Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.
Maya Booth started her acting career in 2011 when she landed a role in the movie "Shadows in the Sun." She played the character of Katie, a young woman who helps a writer struggling with writer's block find inspiration.
