Biografía de María Ocaña
Maria Ocaña is a Spanish actor, born in 1992. Before embarking upon an acting career, Maria had a varied set of experiences, from studying marketing to being a professional dancer.
Maria Ocaña was born in the Spanish city of Málaga in 1992, and spent much of her childhood performing in various dance shows around the country. She began formal training in ballet and contemporary dance from the age of 9 and continued training for the next 10 years. During this time, she also studied at a specialist secondary school for the arts in Málaga, where she continued her development in dance and choreography.
After finishing her secondary school education, Maria decided to study marketing and advertising at university. She graduated in 2014 and worked in this field for several years, but her passion for performing never waned. During this time, Maria continued to perform in dance shows in her spare time and also became involved in local theatre productions.
In 2017, Maria decided to dedicate herself fully to an acting career, and began attending drama school full-time. She had previously dabbled in acting during her time at university and had enjoyed the experience, but it was only upon graduating and entering the working world that she realised she wanted to pursue it as a career.
Maria’s first major acting role was in the Spanish TV series El Príncipe, where she played the character of Faruq’s sister-in-law. Since then, she has gone on to appear in a number of other Spanish TV dramas, as well as independent film productions. Despite her success so far, Maria sees herself as still at the beginning of her career and remains open to whatever comes next.
