Maria Casadevall grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, where she was born in 1987. She spent her childhood with her mother, father, and brother, who all encouraged her passion for dance and theater. She was particularly drawn to ballet, and trained for more than a decade to become a professional dancer.
Casadevall attended the School of Fine Arts at the University of São Paulo, where she earned a degree in arts education.
